What makes Ohrium unique
The oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. is rich in omega-3 docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). The selected strain of Schizochytrium can produce
high concentrations of DHA and EPA.
Le procédé de production utilise un processus de fermentation qui est réalisé dans des bioréacteurs fermés. The production process utilises fermentation in closed bioreactors. The lipids from the microalgae cells are released during the extraction-separation stage. Unlike fish oil, this extraction process does not use organic solvents.
The extracted oil is of high quality, providing a plant-based alternative to fish oil without impacting the marine ecosystem.
